Sisterly banter at home

My stepsister was teasing me around the house. She'd poke fun at me for my choices, laugh at my attempts to be helpful, and generally make light of everything I did. It was like she saw it as her personal mission to get a rise out of me. She'd come up with all sorts of playful jabs and witty remarks, often delivered with a smirk that let me know she was thoroughly enjoying herself. Sometimes she'd mimic my actions or my way of speaking, exaggerating them for comedic effect. Other times, she'd playfully point out flaws or mistakes I'd made, framing them as something hilarious rather than genuinely critical. It felt like a constant game of banter, with her as the self-appointed comedian and me as the unwilling, but eventually amused, audience. Her teasing wasn't mean-spirited, more like a way for her to connect and show affection, albeit a slightly irritating one at times.
